The History of Tuskegee University
The history of Booker T Washington Has landed in Tuskegee university because he is one of the donators and founding fathers of this university but Booker T Washington was born in 1856 on the burroughs tobacco farm which despites it's small size. His mother was a cook and his father was a white man from a nearby farm. As one of the most influential black men of his time. Dr. Washington, a highly skilled organizer and fund-raiser, was counsel to American presidents, a strong advocate of negro business, and instrumental in the developement of educational institution throughout the south. He maintain a lifelong devotion to his institution and to his home- The south. Dr. Washington is buried on the campus of Tuskegee university Chapel. At the time of Washington's death there were 1'500 students and more has made some endorsement to the university because they wanted to show there respects to the death of Dr. Booker T Washington. But Washington believed that if one gave to the community in which they resides, then the community would give back to them tenfold. Since Washington knew the south and was aware that the South's primary base was in agriculture, he believed that the blacks in the south should make themselves indispensable to the land. Booker T Washington had a good life because he had achieved many things before he had past away and the things he did b he became famous and also it made him one of the founding fathers of Tuskegee University and it made history in the making to have a black man that was raised on a plantation to be one of donators of tuskegee university and he made it one of the top historical black college/university that has the most percent of black males and females that goes to college and try to make something of there lives.

the differences between Tuskegee and SIUC
The College Life between Tuskegee and SIUC is mostly different because SIUC has a bigger campus and its more things that happen there then it do at Tuskegee University. The differences between these two colleges they have a lot of different issues and different types of environment that people sometimes gets us to. The main reason for finding the differences for these two colleges was so I can find out what’s best for seniors in high school because some students doesn't know whether any schools is good for them. But the most things that these two school that doesn't have in common is that Tuskegee university only accepts blacks and a few whites but SIUC accepts every body meaning they do not care about there color or there race and they might have a lot more majors on there campus then Tuskegee. Especially between everybody that tries to sign up for those schools. Between these two schools I think Tuskegee is the best school for African American students because it's a smaller school and plus you can get more one on one time with the professor and s/he can help you more then the ones at SIUC because at SIUC theres more people and a bigger campus you won't be able to because it's going to be other people trying to do the same thing. The other thing about these two schools is that they have a lot of things going on campus that you can get in to so you wont have to sit around and do nothing. SIUC has a lot more activities then Tuskegee does because it’s a bigger colleges and it has more fraternities and sororities then Tuskegee. But I think Tuskegee is still the best chose for students that wants to go to a HBCU or a smaller University.

College life
College life should be one if the most important life you should have because your free and you can do what ever you want and nobody can tell you what to do and what not to do as long as you have your work done and in on time because in college the professors will not play because if u don't do the work then they gone say bye and have a nice day because they gone get paid anyway it goes. But college has a lot of interesting things you can do in your spare time like play basketball go to parties and lift weights it's so many things you can do in college. But what's the most things can you do in college on your spare time because it seems like nobody be feeling like doing anything after they get done with their school work. Some people feels that way and some don't but its not rather they don't feel like it's just they should have fun once in their lives because there is some people that don't rarely have fun because they all about there books and that's good and all but they need to loosing up and chill with some friends or something. But college life is a good thing because you don't have no parents telling you what's right and what's wrong because you will be on your own. The most important thing to students that goes off to college that is trying to find some one and kick it, a person that has some of the same qualities as their opposite corner parts or some one that has some of the same interests that they have. To me college life is the best life you can ever have because you will be free to do whatever you want.
